Shopify Plus, used for the things Plus is actually for.
Plus is worth the jump when you need checkout control, wholesale, or several storefronts under one roof. If you don't need those yet, we'll tell you to stay where you are.

Plenty of brands upgrade to Shopify Plus and then use it exactly as they used standard Shopify, which is an expensive way to change nothing. The upgrade only pays when you use what it opens up: the checkout, B2B, multiple storefronts and the automation layer.
We build on Plus for brands who have hit a real ceiling, a checkout they can't change, wholesale running on spreadsheets, or three regional stores maintained by hand.
What's costing you
enquiries right now.
A checkout you cannot touch
Standard Shopify locks the checkout. If your conversion problem is in there, no amount of storefront work fixes it.
Wholesale on spreadsheets
B2B run through emailed price lists and manual invoices, quietly consuming a person's week.
Regional stores maintained by hand
The same product edited three times across three storefronts, with the inevitable drift.
Manual work that should be automated
Order tagging, fraud review and fulfilment routing done by hand because nobody set up Flow.
What Plus unlocks
that standard Shopify won't.
Checkout customisation
Checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions for custom discounts, shipping logic, validation and upsells at the point that matters most.
B2B on Shopify
Company accounts, price lists, payment terms and quantity rules using native B2B rather than a bolted-on app.
Multi-store architecture
Regional or brand storefronts sharing what should be shared, without maintaining the same product three times.
Shopify Flow automation
Order tagging, fraud screening, inventory alerts and fulfilment routing handled automatically.
Headless where it earns its place
Hydrogen or a custom front end when you genuinely need it, and a clear no when you don't.
Enterprise integrations
ERP, PIM, 3PL and CRM connections built against your actual operational workflow.

Every build ships with this.
- Checkout customisation using Functions and UI extensions
- B2B setup with company accounts and price lists where relevant
- Multi-storefront architecture and shared component strategy
- Shopify Flow automations for your operational workflow
- ERP, PIM or 3PL integration scoped against real processes
- Performance budget agreed and enforced before launch
- Staging environment and release process
- Team training on Flow and the admin so you can self-serve
Why we'd build this on Shopify Plus
Plus buys you checkout access, native B2B, multiple storefronts, higher API limits and Flow automation. If none of those are blocking you today, the extra platform cost is hard to justify and we'll say so.
- Checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions
- Native B2B with company accounts and price lists
- Up to 10 storefronts and substantially higher API limits
From first call to launch.

Is Plus actually right?
We start by checking whether you need Plus at all. If standard Shopify still covers you, that's the recommendation. It's a large recurring cost to carry unnecessarily.
- 02
Operational mapping
We map how orders, wholesale and inventory actually move through your business today, because that determines the architecture.
- 03
Architecture
Storefront structure, checkout logic, B2B model and integration plan agreed in writing before development.
- 04
Build and integrate
Development against a staging environment with a proper release process, not edits on a live store.
- 05
Launch and automate
Ship, then layer in Flow automations once real orders are moving through and we can see where the manual work actually is.
What moves the price on
a Shopify Plus build.
We quote fixed prices per project rather than by the hour, so scope is what determines cost. These are the four things that move it most.
How much checkout logic
A small validation rule is quick. Custom discount logic, shipping rules and checkout upsells built with Functions are a substantial engineering piece.
B2B complexity
A single price list is simple. Tiered pricing per company with payment terms, approvals and quantity rules is materially more work.
Number of storefronts
Each additional store adds build and maintenance surface, though a shared architecture keeps the marginal cost far below duplicating the whole thing.
Integration depth
This is usually the biggest variable. It depends almost entirely on how good the API is on the other system.

Get your fixed-price quoteShopify Plus is not an upgrade in the sense of a faster version of what you have. It is a different set of capabilities, and it only pays for itself if you use them.
So the first question we ask is whether you actually need it yet, because for a lot of brands, the honest answer is not this year.

Questions scaling brands
ask us most.
Do we actually need Shopify Plus?+
Only if you need checkout customisation, native B2B, multiple storefronts or much higher API limits. Below roughly $1M in revenue, and without those requirements, standard Shopify is usually the better call, we'll tell you that even though the Plus project would be the bigger job for us.
Can you customise the Plus checkout?+
Yes. Checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions cover custom discount logic, shipping rules, field validation and checkout upsells. Scripts have been retired in favour of Functions, and anything built on the old model needs migrating.
Is Shopify B2B good enough, or do we need an app?+
Native B2B has improved a lot and covers company accounts, price lists, payment terms and quantity rules. It's the right starting point for most brands. Very complex approval workflows still sometimes need more, and we'll be straight about which case you're in.
Should we go headless?+
Usually not. Headless adds real cost and complexity, and for most brands a well-built Liquid theme is just as fast. It earns its place when you need a genuinely custom front end or are serving multiple channels from one backend.
How long does a Plus build take?+
6 to 12 weeks typically. Multi-storefront rollouts and deep ERP integration run longer, and we'd rather quote that honestly than discover it in week eight.
Can you migrate us from standard Shopify to Plus?+
Yes, and it's less disruptive than a platform migration since the data stays put. The work is in rebuilding what Plus lets you now do properly.
